Molly Barnett graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder (2002) and the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law (2007). After law school, Molly clerked for the Hon. Lael Montgomery, of the 20th Judicial District in Boulder, CO. She then worked as an associate attorney at Smith, Shelton and Ragona, LLC, where she practiced in the areas of family law, business law, Indian law, and trust and estates. In 2012, Molly decided to start her own solo practice focusing on estate planning. Now at Schafer Thomas Maez PC, Molly strives to provide approachable, compassionate advice to clients in all aspects of estate planning, estate and trust administration. On her time off, Molly loves spending time with her two young kiddos, Benny and Lila, while also enjoying hiking, biking, kickboxing and Nordic skiing.
